VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria have expanded outreach in Vienna, speaking with young people, parents and teachers via street information stands and community Scientology Europe events. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to present straightforward information on drug risks, with particular attention to cannabis, described by public monitoring bodies as the most widely used illicit drug in Europe. Details were published in this Scientology Europe report.
According to organisers, the Vienna activities focus on early prevention, with visibility at major public events, including the Donauinselfest, while also supporting teachers seeking prevention tools for schools. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European institutions and the United Nations, said: “Prevention works best when young people receive verified information early, in plain language—strengthening public health and civic responsibility.”
